She possesses more than 25 years hands on experience in Human Resources Operations, Strategy, Policy development, Staff Retention and Staff Engagement and this experience was gained in the aviation sector, the insurance sector, and 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers Kampala office.

A Masters graduate in Human Resource Management from University of Manchester (UK); BA in HRM of University of Kent (UK) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). Namata possesses 9 years experience in Compensation and Benefits Management, Rewards Management, Performance Management, Human Resources Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Succession Management, Change Management, Employee Wellness and Welfare gained in the non governmental and telecommunications sector.
